We are constantly on the lookout for freelance writers to create engaging, impactful stories for our readers. We are seeking unique pieces about fashion and lifestyle, politics and culture, as well as feminism, race, education, parenting, health and wellness, spirituality, maturity, sexuality and many other topics. GENERAL GUIDELINES
Within our sections we would like to receive news and features pitches that will inform, inspire and entertain the widest possible audience. All the ideas should reflect our principles and values, have social relevance and include independent voices. Articles that are generous, compelling, thought-provoking, impeccably researched and well-written. We expect all work to be fully fact-checked, accurate, original and free of plagiarism.
Please make sure you visit the website before you pitch, we really do not want receive a pitch for an article we published in the previous week.
Also that you are sincerely wanting to speak to us and our Members not just looking for a platform with no real heart for us.
Resist the urge to send the full article, instead follow the guidelines below And finally, be original speak from the heart , this is Your Voice
We have published hundreds of stories written by diverse individuals, so try to look for something completely new: a new idea, a new approach, a new angle.
Usually your own thoughts, feelings and experiences make the best materiel as you have lived and walked and breathed the knowledge
Then there are the things we fear, the unknown, which os finny for people who have loved over half a century, but there are years of the unknown ahead of us
The answers and questions are all within you. What questions would you ask if you knew you would get the Real Answer?
YOUR PITCH SHOULD ALWAYS…
- Have a suggested headline
- Have 3-4 bullet points or short paragraphs (150-300 words max) that summarise the main points of your article
- Declare whether it is a time-sensitive pitch
- Include whether you plan to interview anyone, use statistics or references of other people’s work on the topic you are pitching
- Include hyperlinks for our reference, where relevant
- Include a short bio (150 words max) introducing who you are and why you want to write for Sins Angels
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
We value our freelance contributors and put a lot of effort into making sure that is reflected in your experience working with us. That is why we would never ask you to “write for exposure!”, even though we can assure you that Sins Angels is an excellent platform to be seen and heard .
In addition to monetary compensation, we will provide professional and experienced feedback on your work.
We will do our best to get back to you within two weeks after receiving your email.
However, due to the high volume of emails we receive we may not be able to do so .
Not all pitches will be replied to. If you have not received an answer within two weeks, please be aware that your idea has not been accepted on this occasion
